Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

SURE!

Not that I'm the expert - but the last thing I saw in print was in Wizard magazine and it said he had been mentioned (but it didn't even say he was an official mention - just like a "wouldn't it be cool if") and the odds were 50 to 1.

I think they are even higher than that. For a tons of reasons, mostly time. And him not having enough of it.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Is this true? Joss is writing X-Men?

The rumor's been out there for awhile, and I'll admit, it's persisted longer than most of the thousand other rumors. (Warren Ellis--the other favorite--had to make a categorical denial on his e-mail list to convince people that he wasn't the new writer.

John Cassady, however, is more or less confirmed.

If Tim were writing it he would kill Storm or ita.

I think ita's objections to Storm are entirely based on the live action portrayal, Trudy. (As are mine...) Comic Book!Storm rocks.

More specifically, he'd kill this Storm (horribly) and replace her with the REAL one whom she locked in a closet for two films.

move out and draw fire

And hopefully insist that Wolverine start being drawn like Wolverine again, and not like Hugh Jackman. Not that I'm objecting to Hugh Jackman's looks, mind you, it's just that I think it's wrong for the casting of the movie to rewrite the character concept. It shouldn't be, there should be a free flow of ideas and creative types building off each other but I don't care, it's still wrong. I mean, are they going to make Storm act like Halle next?

Uh, I actually didn't come in here to rant. Wish I had helpful ferrets like Victor does.

I'm fine with them at least making Wolverine look like a human being again... some portrayals got pretty freakish for a while there.

However, there's no call to infuse Storm with the expressions of Halle's muse (and that of Snow White's stepmother), Uta from the Naumburg Cathedral.
