Wolfman actually scripted one of the cartoon episodes, the one with Aqualad.
Hmm. Wolfman writing Aqualad. The Mad Mod.
I evidently saw the one crap episode. The one where some robot guy wanted to turn Cyborg into a more-robot type, and then at the end he realized what he was missing being human, and there was hugs and everyone was friends, or something like that.

Well, I enjoyed all the ancillary stuff in the Mad Mod episode, but I was cheering every time Robin got smacked down. He totally annoyed the fuck out of me - he's O.D.ing on the "I'm gonna get you" testosterone a little on the young side (hormones, I guess).
The version just launched, with the new Robin, the new Wondergirl, Superboy and Impulse, along with Cyborg acting a lot like Cyborg, Starfire, Changeling (I refuse to call him Beast Boy) and, soon, Raven, has been very promising. Hoping to goodness it doesn't start sucking.
Yes to this. I think the series has rocked out of the gate. Geoff Johns has already said more about the current Robin (Tim Drake) with one line than Jon Lewis has said in his 18+ issues that he has had the
Robin
comic.
So, did anybody else pick up last week's
Buffy
comic. At least they are ending the series on a relatively (for the comic) strong note. The book really suffers from the lacksadaisical pencils of Pascoe, though. The painted panels by Bruce Horton look great, but when you get to the regular panels, it's just bleah.

Oh, yeah: (White-fonted for Spoilers)
Wonder Girl: You lied to Starfire?
Robin: I lie to Batman.
Oh yeah. THAT'S Robin.
I haven't caught the cartoon - is Wonder Girl Donna Troy, or have they updated her to Cassie Sandsmark?
No Wonder girl in the cartoon.
Wonder Girl isn't in the line-up (at least in the episodes I have seen). The line up is Robin, Cyborg, Beast Boy/Changeling, Starfire, and Raven.
Question - is the Gaiman book that people are talking about the new hardcover Sandman? If so is it a) completely new (that was my impression) and if so b) how much is it going for?
Thanks.
Oh, also, when is the next 1602 out?
Oh, also, when is the next 1602 out?
Next week, the 8th, it looks like.
