Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, thanks. I hate when I do that. I'm sorry.

No problem -- It just took me a moment to even figure out what it was about. Especially because I'm pretty sure my parents' curtains are from there. Actually, and their cloth shades.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

So, check out how google maps get you from New York to Paris:

So it won't let you swim any other oceans? Damn.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh, and thanks for the window treatment links, guys. Sigh - I was hoping "relatively inexpensive" to be under $100/window. Oy.

Punishingly Intricate

Jessica, I skimmed over what your window treatment requirements are but I got super cheap cloth roman blinds at Ikea a few years back. They may still have some kind of option that would work for you.

Well, I haven't yet died of boredom, but I still have an hour and a half to go.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Got off the phone with Kat. She sounds good. The babies...they're doing what micropreemies in a good NICU are supposed to. They've passed the 36 hour milestone.

Day by day.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I am no longer under threat of boredom. I just took the SO out for his birthday lunch at our local surprisingly good Japanese restaurant. Sushi lunch box, $12.95! Anyway, it rocked, but the super good news from that outing is that the restaurant owners offered to bring us in fresh fish when they ship it in! Whoot! Ahi in the middle of the desert!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

4:30 is the earliest I can get out of here, too. At least, I've been able to spend the past half hour on finding out the status of some statute books we should have received last month, and then getting back to the editors who noticed the lack originally.

I'm really sore today, and I don't know why. I hope tonight's swim will work out some of the kinks.
