Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Yeah, I knew I'd get busted for that. I just didn't know what plans my hosts had so I went stealth.

That and I was computerless and internetless for most of last week.

What is even happening?

hey! aurelia was in Boston and didn't alert the media! er, the localistas.

I'm glad you said that, because I was imagining seekrit aurelia-meetage and didn't know how to say, "Hey, you were in Boston?" without sounding as pathetic as I was feeling.

So aurelia, you were in Boston? Cool.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I'm wondering how bizzare I'll find some of it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was in Boston! It was indeed cool. Snow, even. Then I came back to 70° in Chicago.

If I'd had more time in the area I would've loved to meet up with the localistas. I just wasn't in a situation to plan on anything.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's the only good part, Vortex! I finally had to google to learn that she was saying "flossy, flossy."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

UK size 10 is a US size 8. So she's my size, but probably more practically laid out. Went shopping today at Zara, and it was the first time I didn't buy anything. None of the tops would work, even when I tried on the biggest sized they had. Either the buttons wouldn't close, or my shoulders made the sleeves stand out awkwardly, or whatever. Basically, my shoulders and breasts hate clothing.

Did get a "Must be all the kettlebell" from the lead testing instructor during the test. That was fun.

Taught today, but will not train. Feels weird. I may train tomorrow (I really want to) but it's my first day at work and I don't know how long it'll run or anything.
