It's a show about sisters who are wedding planners. A drama starring the chick that played Rebecca Wells on Sports Night and the chick who played the manager's sister in Josie and the Pussycats.

Thank goodness. I feel a bit relieved. But it sounds a lot like that Alicia Silverstone show that bombed a couple of years ago, although she wasn't a wedding planner. She was a matchmaker.

This one is done by David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, The Practice) and it's actually written quite well. Still finding it's feet, but I like it so far. Well, what I've seen. I am ostensibly doing homework.

Which I have been doing ALL DAY. And only one class. I'll do science at the dealership tomorrow.

I watched Wedding Bells. D. Kelley regardless. It may have hope.

I have the best parents ever. I just cried all over them and they thanked me for sharing my sorrow and gave me words to make it better. I really, really got lucky. And they are nice, forgiving people. Better than me, actually. Honest to goodness, if my hometown was filled with them? I'd move back, screw the job prospects.

As for the captain's murder, it's being hotly discussed now that the familials are around. My sister even started a conversation about the cricket World Cup at the Indian restaurant with a complete stranger.

Up way too late. Father's flight both delayed and complicated and the pickup involved many dead ends. Here now, and they want my laptop in the other room. Skeered. Don't want to give it up.

I promised to go feed a friend's cats this morning, but tearing myself out of this damn chair is a daunting prospect... cats that you can't hear meowing are less of a incentive than present furry ones who will knock things off the furniture in order to attract your attention.

Catching up. I have the old shuffle, and I love it. For working out purposes, I'd definitely go the shuffle route, especially now that they're even smaller and can just clip on. It's so light that you don't feel like it's banging around. It holds plenty of music for those purposes, and you can either shuffle play or play things in order, so you do have a little control.

OTOH, if you're a runner, the nano has some sweet programming - you can get a thingy for like thirty bucks that you put in your shoe and it tracks all your runs. I'm trying to convince myself I don't need this.

I laughed out loud once during The Wedding Bells last night too. I still wish it was just a bit better, but it has some potential.

Yikes. Dog just gave me a real scare. We were out walking and suddenly she starts going super slow and kind of lurching as she walked. I found a place to sit down so she could rest, because we'd gone kind of a long way and I was terrified she was collapsing or something. Then I noticed one of her legs was shaking. I started feeling her leg and paw - she had a thumb tack buried to the hilt in her paw.

As soon as I took it out she jumped up raring to go again. But jeez, why didn't you yelp or something? Don't scare me like that!
