Heh. And by y'all, we'll just say "my DH." On account of I don't run unless I'm being chased by a very large, hungry predator. I am joining a gym but I walk, ride stationary bikes and do the elliptical trainers, etc. Never run.
I almost wrote it that way, I thought I remembered you not-running, but it would have made my brain work too hard at composing. Anyway, I use my Nike+Nano for walking, and the geeky-coolness of having my workout records (in speed vs time graphical form) all kept for me is the only reason I haven't switched over to the incredibly cute shuffles. I don't make the use of playlists that would otherwise justify the bigger iPod. If I ever get my bike tuned up and onto the trail again, I'm totally rewarding myself with a shuffle.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
I'm usually a misanthropic shut-in, but I have movie+dinner+theater plans for tomorrow! It's almost a social life. Except that I'm going out with the ex and another couple, and I'm really subbing (stop that; I can hear you thinking) for my ex's boyfriend who couldn't go. Still. Human contact!
I don't know what to wear. Nice restaurant, so not jeans/sneakers, but tromping around NYC with three guys who walk really fast, and I'm supposed to wear nice shoes?

Don't own slacks. Wasn't planning to carry a purse big enough for more than a credit card. I don't think I even have a purse big enough to carry shoes. Maybe I've still got a black skirt long enough to hide clunky shoes under.
