I still get carded all. the. time. (I'm 35.)
New shuffle - 1 gb = 240 songs
Plus, the new shuffle is SO CUUUUTE!
My step dad took a picture of my siblings and my mom this past weekend. I think she looks damn good for 86. Her hair is about 25% gray now. My brother is the baby of the family at 52. [link]
No clue if his picture link will work until I try it.
So I'm taking a Greyhound bus today. I bought the tickets online. Since I bought them online, they say I have to show up at least one hour early to pick up my tickets.
wtf?
Unsurprisingly, I also get carded all the time. Since I'm 32, that's generally not an issue...except for the one time we went out to dinner and I forgot my license. Then it was just annoying since NO ONE ELSE I was with got carded and could all drink. I didn't even really want the beer, but it irked me all night. I may have sulked. A little.
In random news, I downloaded a bunch of French music (jazz, pop, etc.) in honor of One Book Week (we've been reading The Little Prince as a grade 6-12 school--very fun) and now have lots of new artists to spend money on. I only bought a few tracks of this album, but I really want all of them. So addictive!
A little.
Ahem.
Aw, Laura-- your family is really cute! Especially since he called you all "the kids".
When I was 27, one of the theatre students (who was 21) thought I was "at least 40". And now one of my professors from college is a new professor where I work. I told a student this and he said "Wow, he must be REALLY old!". Strangely, people who are my age or older tend to think I am younger than I am (33).
Ahem.
YOU WEREN'T EVEN THERE.
I was still getting carded in my 40s, but it has been a decade and 50 pounds since that happened. I found it happened most often with people from other ethnic backgrounds.
"I thought you were 40, at least."
Does dude not understand that you always guess 29, at least until 50 is an obviously flattering underestimation?
