Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

I can have homemade chicken tortilla soup for lunch (again) or I can stop when I go to the post office and get something else. Validate me in my selfish and costly choice, natterers.

Go soup, choose soup! That way I'm not the only eating it (turkey barley today, with oyster crackers, apple, and a cookie).

That cat is hilarious!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Is this the only source for the "Edwards suspending campaign" incorrect news screwup? Because of one blogger with one source, a bunch of big media got it wrong? Or were there other false sources?

Politico updates false Edwards report.

Politico’s Ben Smith on his false report: “A single, confident source close to John Edwards told me this morning that Edwards was ’suspending his campaign,’ and I posted it to the blog at 11:06 this morning. My source, and I, were wrong. … I trusted the source, somebody I’ve known for several years, and who has always been reliable. And with less than an hour before Edwards was to announce, I unwisely wrote the item without getting a second source.”

CNN’s Candy Crowley doesn’t have much sympathy: “Now, Politico.com has cracker jack reporters over there.”

It seems to me that someone must have done this before, but I don't recall every seeing it.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

They were waiting for the results of the DNA tests to come back.

I am now picturing Gil Grissom giving Zeus a cheek swab.

Also, Hermes did it with his sister and his aunt!

Okay, this cat actually made me snork out loud at my desk: [link]

That cat looks like it's trying very had not to puke. But that's still hilarious.

Zeus and Hera were siblings, and Gaea gave birth to Uranus before conceiving all the titans and numerous other monstrous figures with him.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

DwtS

I like Ian, Joey Fatone, and Laila Ali.

They are the ones to watch. I was surprised how much I liked Paulina Porizkova, she looks like if she can relax a little she could get much better, and that's always fun to see. Clyde Drexler's got some real potential if he can open up some.

Getting my news from Natter or TDS really is the best plan.

This is what I do, with a little bit of NPR on the side. I mostly sleep through that, though, so I just have very confusing dreams that are oddly in sync with current events.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Is this correct usage?

I’m writing to tender my resignation effective April 6, 2007.

I think I've not written those words before. Usually I've just said, "bye."
