A boozy lunch and the first day without a headache? That's a good win.

And on a nice, sunny day to boot. Score.

Sounds like a migraine aura, Nutty. I most often got them without an actual accompanying migraine headache pain, though.

Because books.

Sounds to me like the boozy lunch and the first day without a headache could be related. More boozy lunches, I say! Although your firm might frown upon it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It could be optic nerve cancer. There's always a way.

I am having a migraine. The nerve block is working--the back of my head doesn't hurt at all, and that's a considerable part of a bad migraine for me. But my eyeball is trying to escape, and the muscular soreness goes from shoulder all the way up to jaw. What a waste of a really lovely massage I had today.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think some are getting tired of politics, but if you're still interested, here's a fascinating Daily Kos post: [link]

It argues that this is a Really Big Deal/about to blow up in Bushie's face/straw that broke the camel's back/etc....

eta: From the Kos post (bold is theirs):

You don't have to read every line of the slowly uploaded e-mails to get the point: this is the highest level of corruption and graft ever perpetrated in the United States by the government.

If congresspeople ask the right questions and demand all the evidence officials are likely now trying to shred, hide, bury, burn, swallow, or shove up their asses -- then before this thing is over, it will be clear that the lastest scandal is 100% pure, unadulterated obstruction of justice. The obstruction is an attempt to cover up a widespread pattern and practice of GOP and corporate corruption.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yeah, I think I found the cure for daily headaches. Alcohol!
I am going to have to give this a try.

Though it might have been the lack of stress, bon. And, of course, the boozy lunch. Cause those are fun.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I need to stay far away from pain meds, because I like them far too much. I've never met one I wouldn't take again, happily.

Man, this is SO me, too. Morphine was kickass, but percocet was pretty damned good, too.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Colbert was hilarious--and Jon Stewart kicked some John Bolton ASS tonight.
