"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

awww. I wish that I could hate you, but that's just too cute.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

What's the schedule like?

Well, the now-ex-owner is moving out this Saturday (the contract of sale allows her 10 days after close to move), and will be out entirely on Tuesday, which is when we'll officially take possession. We won't be moving until March 3rd, though, because the next 2 weekends are all taken up with family being in town (this) and the Oscars (next).

Took me a few seconds--that's a rather big oops!

Bwah!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Totally, Hec. That's why he's the coolest.

I hate her voice even though I know about her condition. I'm cruel like that. She just bugs me. She just asked the author if dating on the internet is dangerous like the movie Looking for Mr. Goodbar.

ha! We were just talking about her on one of my other boards yesterday :)

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Tonight should be low-key, except Bob's flight to NYC has been cancelled so who knows if I will see him on our anniversary. But we've got fancy dinner plans for Saturday night and plans for his birthday on Friday. If he makes it home we'll go and get a good burger, I think.

Tonight I will do dishes and watch FNL, although I'm tempted by the Jericho thing which is also on. And maybe watch LoM, if my ahem finishes.

Tomorrow night I'm driving to Truckee to ski, so there will be no SPN for me until Sunday, woe! But I get to use my new Friday off and see my brother and SIL, so that'll be okay.

Speaking of the new job, it's a bit disconcerting to start a new position and find everyone freaking out about a proposed reorganization that might involve significant relocations and maybe layoffs. Um?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Uh oh, Consuela. That sounds unattractive!

Yeah, that's one word for it. But you know, I'm not bothered. I know I can find another job without too much angst, even if it means going back into the private sector. I would just rather not. OTOH, I'm so not moving to Virginia or Ohio (yes, those are two of the possibilities).

I'm having fun, though--I have a great view out my new window and the people are nice and B.org isn't blocked.
