Well, you'd better not be thinking what I think you're thinking, because my answer is the same as always — no threesomes unless it's boy-boy-girl. Or Charlize Theron.

OK, this man may need slugged.

Re: the skywalk over the Grand Canyon, several tribe members and Buzz Aldrin did first honors.

"I can hear the glass cracking!" Hualapai Chairman Charlie Vaughn said playfully.

I hope his neighbors don't have to put up with too much from him.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've never been more than twilighted for minor surgeries, the thought of being put "out" does rather terrify!

I used to have a dentist who employed nitrous oxide, which worked so very well for me -- it did dull pain, but most of all it made me Not Care. It is like you can't hold on to an emotion, so if something hurt, it was over and you didn't feel any emotional anticipation or fallout. Just "oh, that was interesting, wasn't it?"

Evidently my reaction to NO is textbook perfect. I found myself lying there looking at the ceiling, telling myself that if I could feel the top of me, and the bottom of me, but I didn't have any sensation of me in the middle of me. This made perfect sense....

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So the administration is gonna fight subpoenas for Rove and Meyers (if issued). They've previously said they'd fight every subpoena they received, all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary.

Hopefully, the Dems will display a little agression on this.

Now tagless for your comfort.

When DH came out from under the anesthesia from having his wisdom teeth cut out he got violently and verbally abusive. I was sitting in the waiting room reading a magazine when they asked me to come back and calm him down. He was flailing his arms and swearing in a garbled, out-of-it way. I've never been so frightened in my life. He calmed down when I spoke to him but it freaks me out to this day.

He also gets angry and snappish on pain killers (vicodin, I think). So he sticks to tylenol.

Okay, ow. I can't tell if there's any glass in my foot now, but if it still hurts in a couple of days, I will go to the doctor to avoid having anything migrate in any of my body parts.

I just saw this on CNN. WTF? Whatever happened to Checks and Balances? I want a constitutional smack-down on Bush's ass.

What is even happening?

My GYN is in a teaching hospital. I had another doctor one day and was sitting there when she walked in with a group of medical students who crowded around the end of the table and waited expectantly for me to scoot down. She mumbled quickly that these were medical students, etc. I said "was anyone going to ASK me before there were 10 people in the room?" She said "well, we thought that you wouldn't mind, but if you don't want to help the students learn, I can ask them to leave". I said "I don't know why you thought that, we've never met, you're not my regular doctor. Frankly, I don't appreciate the position that you have put me in, trying to embarrass me and bully me into allowing the students to stay for my exam with that passive aggressive comment." I then looked at the students and said "I'm sorry, if they had asked me, I would have said yes, but on principle for other women who fall for this, I'm going to say no." They sort of looked at me, then shuffled out. I then got off the table and said "I'm going to reschedule with my regular doctor." She looked pissed, but I just waited for her to leave. When I came back, I told my doctor what had happened, and he told me who to write the letter to.
I never suspected it was possible to think Vortex was any more kick-ass than I'd thought prior to reading this post. Damn, that was great to read.

It's a good thing they didn't tell me what it was because I'd be out trying to score some right this second.

Oh yeah, Cashmere. I'd be taking it every Monday night.

Ben was extremely aggitated (agitated -- neither looks correct) when he came out of general anesthesia. He was like a two year old beginning a tantrum, but was about 5', 100lbs. He was in a lot of pain, and they were insisting he void his bladder, and he had to, but it hurt. He threw himself backward across the middle of the bed in the recovery room. I had to catch him so he didn't hit his head on the bars on the other side. I thought my shoulders were going to vacate their sockets.

The evil is this way?

As I recall, "Executive Priviledge" does not excuse Rove and Miers from testifying when served with a subpoena. At most it will shield them from testifying from those communications which fall within the scope of the "privilege."

Interestingly, Clinton's senior aides testified many times (30+) when he was president.

I read that Bush just gave a short news conference, and people said he sounded really pissed off.

The gist of it was: Rove and Meyers are innocent. Therefore this is a partisan witchhunt. Therefore we don't have to let them testify.

Bush is guarding Rove like his ass is stuffed with gold. Turdblossom knows where all the bodies are buried.
