Tara: What's so bad about them coming here? Aren't they good guys? I mean, Watchers, that's just like whole other Gileses, right? Buffy: Yes! They're scary and horrible!

"I'm going to reschedule with my regular doctor." She looked pissed, but I just waited for her to leave.

Also, please notice my COMPLETE LACK OF CARING that you're unhappy about this.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

daaaaaaaaamn, Vortex. Way to give them what for, though.

Well, I wasn't going to have her poking around my goolie with a speculum after I just pissed her off.

I hate it when they do that kind of stuff to people. It is totally against the rules, too. Like when I was about to go into surgery and they asked me to sign a consent form for a test for another doctor's research study. Which is DIRECTLY CONTRARY to reponsible research conduct. Now, I'm an intelligent person and know what's up, so I signed it, but I made sure to mention it later. My doctor thinks I'm a hardass, but that's okay.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Oh, I meant to say- Mom and I went out to dinner while I was back home for Mimi's funeral. I was telling her about the people who expected me to fix our database. The one that is on a website. A website run by another organization. Anyway, one of mom's coworkers decided to make their interface "prettier" so she changed the color of the font. Each character a different color. Like a spectrum.

I told her it would make some people here shudder.

hip deep in pie

My doctor is in a teaching practice too, and I've learned the hard way not to accept appointments for resident doctors if a pelvic exam is involved.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Yay, mac!! Now he can get a savings account. Just make sure he doesn't start getting credit card offers.

Speaking of bills and savings, I'm thinking about stopping by Borders this week to see if they're hiring. Money's in short supply right now because of the cost of the diet and the fact that I'm going to have to start buying clothes pretty damn soon because all of mine are getting too big for me!! Also, I'll need cash for school and my sister's wedding. I was thinking about waiting until next year because of school and the wedding, but I need the money now and have time between now and Labor Day to rack up some hours and earn some money.
