I vote that when Daisy Jane comes to visit -- and, later, when Allyson makes it up for a weekend -- we all go to that bar and leave those women great whopping tips. They just seem like DJ and Allyson's kind of women (and in the alternate universe where Allyson is a bartender, I can totally hear her saying "Your date's over, mister," though I think she would punctuate the statement with a golf club or baseball bat upside the asshole's head).

I'm so boggled by that that I hardly have room left to be boggled, and irrevocably skeeved, at the fact that at the time he was working for the school district (not directly working with kids, but still -- FUCKED UP).

But they already do that! Well, to some degree. I have a cousin who was given a memory killer before they set her arm. They needed her to feel the pain for the procedure so they could be sure they got it right. They just fixed it so she wouldn't remember it. Then her mother told her about it later and she totally freaked out worse than she would have, probably, had she retained her memory.

Besides the guy being a scumbag rapist, I wonder why someone would do that to a date that is going well? Why not try to have sex with your dates the old fashioned way? With consent?

Look at you--glass half-full guy! The good news is that with the waitress and bartender, the heroes outnumber the scumbags so that's a net gain for humanity.
