I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

What are everyone else's plans?

I'm missing FNL tonight, due to working at the restaurant. It's still a good thing, because I'll make money, but I predict annoyance at all the dates.

Valentine's day was really yesterday to avoid Valentine crowding, there was kid-free time arranged, dinner, and flowers. Nothing out of the ordinary Valentine sort of stuff.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I'm planning to do some cleaning and watch Friday Night Lights.

FNL is on the menu for us too!

He's doing a really good job of lowering the bar, isn't he?

Right!?!

Ray Suarez

One of the many Chicago newspeople gone national--I miss seeing him on Channel 5 news (along with the best newsteam ever, Ron Magers and Carol Marin--damn you, Jerry Springer!!!).

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

He came down here for something or another, and Mr. Jane was terrified (not really) that I was going to run off with him.

Isn't the North Korea arrangement Bush is taking credit for (and should really), like, basically the same sort of thing the Clinton administration did? It's good that diplomacy is making progress with North Korea, but it's sort of the exception that disproves the rest of his foreign policy.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

D.I.Y. Pulsing Hubby Detector: [link]

This project uses an RF receiver module to trigger a pulsing LED Heart when the transmitter comes within range. I made this for my fiance for Valentine's Day this year.

D'awww....

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We bought clothes and stuff at the outlet mall on Sunday instead of buying each other Valentine's gifts. Not the most romantic thing, but, hell, I am lucky enough to be married to someone with whom I find romance in the most mundane matters. He's the most lovely man and best partner ever. Sorry for the shmoop, but I have been feeling extra loving lately, since his whole response to me having this surgery and several weeks of having to take care of me has been "Don't worry. I'll take care of everything. Actually, it will be cool because we get more time together." And I know he means it.

Took me a few seconds--that's a rather big oops!
