Or -- what's the thing that people kept talking about a while ago? Clafouti?
Is that some kind of... pudding?
Have you been watching Alton Brown?
No, I've barely been home all week. It's just that the power of baked goods runs strong within my family. We think it's easier to face the world armed with chocolate chip cookies and a blueberry buckle fresh from the oven.
One of the Good Eats (reruns, I assume) last week was about cobbler, and I think he spent about twenty minutes of the show listing variations on cobbler.
Congrats, Billytea! You two look wonderful and happy.

My migraine specialist told me to give up bananas for a while to see if they were a contributing factor to the headaches.
Turns out not, but I've felt little urge to reintegrate them into my diet, despite having been a one-a-day consumer beforehand.
Weird.
It's probably that there's no fruit space left since the tangerine and blueberry obsessions began.
Okay, got to go to my HR appointment for the new job. So much to do ahead of time here.
I really really hate ripe bananas, but I quite like greenish ones. I like them best when they're just past the point of drying out your mouth. Sadly that stage doesn't last for long. Less sadly, they're then perfect for banana bread!
