I'm a vision of hotliness, and how weird is that? Mystical comas. You know, if you can stand the horror of a higher power hijacking your mind and body so that it can give birth to itself, I really recommend 'em.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh yeah, that was a best show moment ever contender.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Feeling better today--best day yet.

YAY

Lovely day. Lovely weekend. Want someone to fetch me dinner.

Me too!

Damn, good weekend.

Me too! At least until I got to the airport. Sitting in an unairconditioned plane on a runway for an extra hour and a half is never as much fun as it sounds.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Bodies of water would average out with no high and low tides, but what else?

We'd actually still have tides due to the sun, but they'd be a lot weaker without the moon.

I'm pretty sure the oceans make up so tiny a fraction of the earth's mass that their effect on its rotation is negligible.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

TAR: "Phil, give me a hug! Phillllll!!!" Hilarious!! I called a non-elim leg about half-way through, and knew something was up with the slow-mo edit of you-did-the-wrong-thing! when everyone started going for the coal instead of manicures.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hump. Omakase. Crinolines¹.

Blueberries, then more Space:1999, then bed.

Considering this was a day without serious migraines, it SO chalks up in the win column.

And there was even Angel! And fun krav teaching!

Oh, god, it'll never be like this again. A week from now I'll have taken my black belt, and one way or another, I'll hate krav (I hear you feel that way, win or lose).

I better get those blueberries and changed for bed.

¹: Thanks to Kat for another great loaner dress.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Timelies.

I've got to teach this morning. Don't want to.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Crap! It looks like I'll miss this TAR, damn it -- if it ran 45 minutes late, I'll only have the first 15. I believe I've posted about those bomb-sniffing rats here before, as they're trained by APOPO, a Belgian charity that concentrates on low-tech sustainable solutions.

Check out the Hero Rat site for more details -- there's flash animations, pictures, games, vids of them in training and in action. Plus you can adopt a rat!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

She really is just the cutest.
