being questioned by Homicide means someone is dead
Eh, people die all the time. Who says you can't get a hot date out of it?

Heh. Roommate confessed that she was a little relieved when I finally walked in the door last night.
If you're talking about murder, maybe you shouldn't start out a sentence with the words "Roommate confessed..."
This all reminds me of the time, years ago in DC, when I was meeting some friends for a drink, but one of them had just had his apartment broken into, so we spent the evening with the cops instead. The cop was reasonably cute, but what was hilarious was A, who was a new reporter, and was all excited that she and the cop carried the same kind of notebook.
Me? I just call the cops. I don't invite them in!
Dr. Bronner's lavendar soap makes healing cuts sting like hell. And I think the stingy gave me hiccups. I'm bitter. But good smelling!
Damn, I should just give up and go to bed. God knows tomorrow...I get to clean, do laundry and unearth my car from maybe an inch and a half of pellets and another inch of snow to get necessities. FUCK WINTER.
That girl who won the $100,000 science prize?
I showed my slacker kids her site. Most impressive.
Just watched the rerun of the pilot episode of Raines. Definitely going to tune in next week! Jeff Goldblum rocks the house, as usual, and that ending was something I did not see coming at all. Loved his little snark to the gardener at the end, too.
ETA: I just looked up the show on IMDB because the guy who plays the captain was driving me nuts because I knew him from somewhere--he was the lead character in the From the Earth to the Moon episode "Spider," in which he played the head of the company that developed and built the LEM for the Apollo program.

I definitely think Kathy and I share a brain.
My evening = watching movies on TNT, drinking tea, and trying to decide between ice cream or cinnamon toast. There was much snuggling with Sara earlier, too, which = very nice.
Hi, AmyLiz! I hope you enjoy custody of my brain tonight, 'cause it's definitely not here.
Does anyone else have that snark to the gardener from the end of Raines as their tagline? Because I want it. In fact, I think I'll take it, unless someone else has it and I've missed it due to my brain not being here.
That exchange was so good! The poor gardener.
My brain is shutting down for the night, I think. Me to bed once I finish my ice cream.
I have added a glass of wine to my plans, and online television. It's okay.
