And you're sure this isn't just some fanboy thing? 'Cause I've fought more than a couple pimply, overweight vamps that called themselves Lestat.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Kinda cool, apparently there is a buttload of water (frozen) at the Martian south pole. Enough to cover all of Mars with 36 feet of water if thawed.

AWE. SOME.

We may be mining that someday, after we've polluted all of ours. (Sorry, little pessimistic today.) Wonder if it's salty or fresh?

No, I'm leaving now. Really. Ice and snow.

eta Yes! Immigrant Song! It's in my head now.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Question for the hivemind:

I'm looking into calendar software for a small office. Needs to be compatible with a variety of cells and blackberry.

What are people using here? Do you dig it?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Tommyrot posted about this previously, but this week I saw for myself the World Overcomers Outreach Ministries Church mockery of the Statue of Liberty on my way to a movie theater in the south side of Memphis.

I like to think of it as Liberty Castigating the Heathens.

We use Lotus Notes. We hatessss it, precious. (Though, when I wonder WHY we hates it, I can't really come up with any concrete reason...)

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

If you're going to use a BlackBerry, you're pretty much locked into Microsoft Exchange, which sucks. It also works with Lotus Notes, which is a whole other level of suck.

Wait, that was *recent*? I saw e using the (hilarious) report of it as a sig last night, but hadn't realized that was a recent event.

Like, the body was found yesterday at 5pm recent.

Apple will have their own Calendar server in the next release of Mac OS X, which is due some time in the next few months.
