The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That's really cool, Robin. Good on them.

How are you feeling?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I haven't fallen for the no-knead yet, although EVERY corner of the internets was talking about it for a while there. I figure, I like kneading, and it only takes a few minutes, and you get the same sourness from any recipe that rests for a long time.

Thanks, Cindy. I'm thinking that I will be fine when hooked to the fetal monitor come monday afternoon and I'll have a reprieve of one more week of work. Odd that I am thinking of it as a reprieve. I have too much to teach still!

That's super sweet, Robin!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The no-knead recipe sounds like at least as much work and mess as kneading, to me. I like beer bread, though. It seems kind of, I don't know, sneaky.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hold on, future-people-in-Kat!! Chillax.

Guardian Angels wear red berets. That's all I got.

No-knead bread is no work at, and a fair amount of mess. I should knead some bread someday. Maybe this weekend.

Wow. Have NYistas heard about Right Rides? Amazing what people can do when they just decide to. And it makes me feel better about spending money on Zip Cars, who apparently have really stepped up as a sponsor.

Yeah, a friend of mine is on the board of Right Rides. Very cool.

Edit: I'm apparently a liar, since she doesn't seem to be on the board. So either she was, or she's just a volunteer. Either way.

Lovely, Robin!

I like for other people to make my bread. I'm that lazy.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

My aunt made the no-knead bread at Christmas -- it's basically a boule, with a slightly tighter crumb. Very tasty, but not tastier than regular country-style French bread, and I love to knead.
