Riley: Oh, yeah. Sorry 'bout last time. Heard I missed out on some fun. Xander: Oh yeah, fun was had. Also frolic, merriment and near-death hijinks.

OK, so I can be weird and offputting but I realize had I had some organ excessed (yes, I mean that word,) one of the first thing I'd do once mobile would be to weigh myself to figure out how much that sucker weighed.

I think I'm more my father's daughter than I'd like to admit.

Also? You should get to test drive pain drugs before they give them to you post surgery.

I am really tickled at the way that boy thinks.

What is even happening?

Oh, mac. You're too precious. How old will he be in April, msbelle? Chris will be 7.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Msbelle! How dare you crush his little heart so?

Thanks guys. Although I'd rather not have been spending my savings this whole time, starting after the black belt test is very sensible, as are good bennies.

Okay. Lie down now.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

you know, msbelle, if you provide a forklift I could hook him up with at least a rover and a moon lander.

pssst. Don't tell him if I asked my brother, he could probably find a large toy space shuttle that does fly.

Ooooh, if his fascination continues for a few years, there's got to be a rocket club around there...

edit: Allyson wins!

It's funny. his fascination is really with whatever is in sight.

lions, airplanes, batman, superman, cars, camera, shuttle,....

What is even happening?

He seems impressed by and interested in the same sorts of things that strike Chris.

I'm sure sarameg's brother could do better, but it seems there are toy space shuttles that fly; they're just not big enough for mac.
