Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

and realized that I didn't have anything to wear except jeans and a Batman T-shirt.

Huh. That's, like, 95% of my wardrobe.

Anyone surprised?

I am not knocking the Batman. But a little more variety in my Not-At-Work clothes might be good.

How about a purple velour jumpsuit? I could see you in that.

The status is NOT quo.

I swear if I had a million dollars right now I'd throw out 90% of my wardrobe and go on the most fantastic shopping spree evah. I'd even do Rodeo. Like Pretty Woman only without the whole hooker angle (though I'd still likely manage to get kicked out of the stores for not looking like The Right Kind of customer).

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'll have a very skimpy wardrobe once what's in my closet right now get too baggy on me. But, when my sister had her gastric bypass surgery last October, she passed on all of her size 20-22 clothes to our mom. By the time I head out to Mom's for Thanksgiving, I'm hoping I'll be close to a 22 (or within a month or so of wearing that size), so I'll be shopping at Le Boutique de Mama's Closet!

You're going to make me emo. You won't like me when I'm emo.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Rock! I love LA.

Shrift, you have the cool. You infuse with the cool.

As for me, the Batman T-shirt is not only one of the few things that fit me, it's the top contender for me to wear out to lunch.

Tomorrow I have to transition from Engagement Cocktail Party to IMAX 300. Not sure how to dress for that, even without considering my limited wardrobe.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

My SIL says my nephew has a ton of "stuff" and so I was searching for new books, but then, you see, I saw this!!!

And I was thinking about how we couldn't tear him away from the water tables at the Children's Museum.

But then, my SIL is the boss.

His birthday is at the end of March, and it seems like a nice spring toy to put in my parents' backyard, whic is very sunny.

Should I call my SIL first about it?

Buffista moms/dads? Thoughts?

loose skirt, top, flats. maybe cardigan. wear to both.

when you get a big fat paying gig again, you should hire me as wardrobe consultant and fly me out quarterly for closet overhaul.

maybe grandma and grandpa should be sent a link and it could be something to them that stays at THEIR house (as SIL thinks they have too much stuff) and the gift could be something smaller that would then be at his house.

Mac got a few things in TX that are too much for out house. I know it is a bit different b/c for mac grandma and grandpa are a plane ride away, so things staying at their house is a whole different vibe, but still.
