Now tagless for your comfort.

ita, that is the only toy from Toy Story that Owen does NOT have.

Freaky-faced potatoes. Although Don Rickles is very funny.

but onion rings are my OTFSD (One True Fried Side Dish). Mmmmm, onion rings...

Yes, but batter-dipped or crumb-dipped?

If the former, the crumbly ones or the puffy ones?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Locally, we have many good spuds.

Art's Cafe makes perfect shredded hashbrowns. Golden grown crispy sheets of fresh spuds cooked in butter! Then he folds them and folds them so there's extra crispyness inside. But not burned!

Zazie has fantastic breakfast potatoes, french style, very crispy on the outside and soft inside and cooked with garlic cloves which get mellow and you can spread on your bread. Not cubed though.

I do miss the Crescent City Cafe which did perfect cubed home fries with little New Orleans touches. And Spaghetti Western which served a mountain of home fries topped with eggs and melted cheese and sour cream and sausage if you liked that.

At the Ferry Building you can get perfect potato croquettes made from yukon golds. They hand it to you in a little paper sleeve, and it's crispy golden on the outside and flavorful mashed potatoes inside. The best of both worlds.

I guess I'm having potatoes for lunch!

I can't handle a face on my potatoes.

Especially if it's Jesus or the Virgin Mary.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Oh, I have a bag of curly fries at home! I just remembered. Not that I am at home right now.

Always Anti-fascist!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Garlic mashed potatoes!

Oooh, now I want to go to Rock Bottom.

Okay...clearly I need to make a trip out soon just to get these.

I'm sure I've had Zazie's potatoes but I don't remember them! And, awww Spaghetti Western's potatoes. I remember those!

I'm totally having breakfast potato nostalgia now! No home fries have ever matched the kind of plain, small cut ones from the Greek-owned greasy spoon on Comm Ave around the corner from the house where I lived in Brookline. Those and buttered toast and sunnyside up breaka da yolk eggs...The perfect cheap hangover/pulled an all-nighter writing my boyfriend's paper breakfast.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm definitely going to have to meet you for lunch at the Ferry Building when I get out there, Hec.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Where on Comm Ave?

Also, those croquettes sound AWESOME. I think my curry had potatoes in it but it's not the same.
