You got all kinds of learnin' and you made me look the fool without tryin', and yet here I am with a gun to your head. That's 'cause I got people with me. People who trust each other, who do for each other, and ain't always lookin' for the advantage.

Coding and Sleeping

Wouldn't the scale eventually slide down to whacking things like baseball bats or, in this case, cricket bats.

Clusterpost.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Also, sliding down pointy things naturally kills people.

Sheryl! Seeing your name reminds me--way to go on the treadmill speed and distance that you posted last night (it was last night, wasn't it?)! I'm hoping to get up to a 30-minute mile by 3/23, and two miles in 40 minutes by my sister's wedding in October.

And then down to pointed sticks and fresh fruit.

I'm here for 2 weeks. I'll have to look at the schedules and see if there's a day with a normal-ish lunch time.

Awesome. And if you can't do lunch, maybe an early dinner? I get off work at 4:30, and if necessary, I can always kill time at Borders.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Kathy,

Thanks! It was last night that I posted about the treadmill. I've been doing the treadmill 4 times a week, instead of twice a week and swimming twice a week. I guess I'm a wimp about weather, and it's easier to use the treadmill in our basement than using the local pool.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Cool. I'll e-mail you at some point.

I love having wireless at the tech table!

Oh! Got busy today and forgot to mention, but as of this morning I've lost 25 pounds on the diet—pretty good considering yesterday was the start of my sixth week.
