Simon: Captain... why did you come back for us? Mal: You're on my crew. Simon: Yeah, but you don't even like me. Why'd you come back? Mal: You're on my crew. Why we still talking about this?

Hell, yes. I mean that in the yes, please way.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Why do friday afternoons always last 4.3 brazilion hours?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

"Oh, John Winchester. You stubborn, stubborn son of a bitch."

Bless him, he is.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Gah! I can't believe I care about the peak oil thing.

I'm currently sitting in the cafeteria in Fountain Valley waiting for my 3pm interview to start.

What is even happening?

Good luck with the interview, ita. If you like the job, may it be yours.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Also? How funny is it to come into the thread and find that everyone actually *is* discussing duct tape?

Point!

It seems to me that I've actually seen a clip of Allyson in IRL. (italicized to indicate the documentary.) I'm pretty sure I have.

Kind of jealous Scrappy gets to see Alibelle so often and vice versa. OTOH, Alibelle can't really post online while she's at work.

Art Crawl!!!

Just got home. Snowpocalypse continues. (That spelling looks wrong. But I can't figure it out. Looks better now.)

Supposedly we're only getting 1-2 inches of snow - but it's really difficult to tell when it's all going horizontal!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The job is too far away, & I am now sure to have a horrid drive back because of the delay.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good luck getting back home, ita.

I went back and whitefonted just so we wouldn't have to see the ugliness staring out at us....

I wish this was possible in real life.

Seriously.

hip deep in pie

I've been trying to post this all day, but the NYT kept crashing my browser at work.

Duct tape may not be as effective at curing warts as you think:

Okay, I've been emailing back and forth about a vacancy in our Co-op with this woman. I keep telling her that when she emails back to me the completed application, I'll arrange a viewing. Finally she emails me and asks me how she's supposed to fill this out electronically. It's a Word document sent as an attachment. She doesn't seem to have problems opening it or reading it. It's not that hard to figure out, is it?

I got my new crown put in today. Now I can relax about chewing on the right side of my mouth. And my dentist did about $1000 worth of work for free, since he did the last crown that just crumbled in my mouth. He's so great.
