After all the fruit and tangerine discussion here last night, guess what breakfast was this morning? Banana bread and a tangerine. Yummy!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

aren't they Allstate ads? Good hands=allstate. Like a good neighbor=state farm.

State this, state that...yeah, you're right. I can see the logo, much of the ad, hear Haysbert, but damned if I could remember the company.

I'm watching The Unit online, so there's no fast forwarding through the commercials (in all honesty, I'm grateful every time it's not an ad for The Marine or whatever that John Cena crap is), but I do tend to be in another browser window until they're done. ABC is cool in that they won't continue with the show until you click something, but on the other hand, that's annoying too.

When I watch CSI online, the commercials always fail to load. I find this endlessly amusing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, speaking of CSI, I never did watch the most recent one with the miniature situation. Is it worth getting online?

Jesse, it was a pretty good episode. But then, I like the creepiness of the detail work in those miniatures. I missed last night's ep--I'll catch it this weekend through OnDemand.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

There's a great TAL piece about that, about the cast and crew of Riverdance. Check it out!

That was a funny piece. They were so sure they were going to win.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Last night was a rerun, Kathy.

Good! One less thing to watch this weekend. I still haven't seen last week's BSG, which I missed due to the Oscars.

See what happens when you taunt Stormpocalypse?

Last night I was going to make a taunty post about the stone construction and positioning of my building meaning I didn't have to worry about winds unless they brought a good-sized earthquake with them. Oh well, at least it'll be a clean apartment that crashes down onto I-240 if Stormpocalypse brings its A-game to the South.
