It's been a while since I've seen it. Did the trick.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I have to say that singing and chair-dancing along to "I got girl trouble up the ass!" swings my mood in the upward direction.
Those cats were exactly what I needed, and I didn't even know it.
Seriously, can I go home yet?
Kathy, your new intro is great. All the best!!!! I'm in my 2nd quarter of library school (I'm more on the info science side, though) and I'm really enjoying it. For my application process, I had to take the GRE (required of all applicants), write a statement of purpose, get three letters of recommendation, and then wait and wait and wait.
Shit I didn't say:
If you knew exactly how lazy and unproductive she is, you wouldn't be sad that she's leaving.
How have you done your job for the last year without being in the toolset??? How??? HOW???
I was glad I didn't have to worry about the GRE--when I first applied to the program (back in 1994), it was still required, so I took it and actually did really well on it. However, it is now 13 years later, and I shudder to think how much I've forgotten in that span! I'm really grateful that they changed that requirement (I'm guessing there's a lot of people getting this degree in their 30s and 40s, like me, who really hated the thought of taking that test at this point in their lives).
Thanks for the good words, Gloomcookie, and everyone else! This is proving to be a rather hectic year already, what with the diet/exercise program, applying to school, and then worrying about my sister's wedding in October. I think I might have to hit my parents up for a short-term loan if I get into the program, since I'll have to stay on campus for 10-14 days this summer for what my co-worker calls "library boot camp." My company will reimburse me, but I don't know if the federal loan will cover the room and board as well as the tuition for that summer term. (Which reminds me--I have to bring home my tax info from work so I can fill that form out tonight, as well.)
That reminds me. I was talking to my cousin in N.O. the other day, and she said one of her friends observed, "Y'know we never had tornadoes until we moved all these trailers down here."
Most everything concerning divinity has to be taken on faith, but we have empirical evidence about the dislike for trailer parks.
Crap -- I just realized I was supposed to have done this one task by yesterday, and I totally spaced it, in a passive-aggressive moment. I'm annoyed, because I'm pretty sure what the person is asking for is for me to do her job for her, and I'm not into that. Ah well. Tomorrow will be fine.
Shit I didn't say:
I'm sorry you have no basic computer skills, but I spent the last hour on the phone with you and resending the email, printing it out for you to come pick up or fax it to you because you said you were getting emails from everyone else (though I checked mine and couldn't have been on my end), so when you call back and say, "Nevermind, my email's down" it makes me want to choke a bitch.
-t, wait till you see the pictures.
The grocery bagger today emptied my carton of mandarins into a shopping bag. There could have been stuff I didn't say, but I just asked him to put them back in the carton, and he replaced the cover to it too.
How freaking weird. Decanting my citrus.
Which reminds me. Want one now.
