Question: Will hiding in a cavern with stockpiled chocolate goods be any part of this plan?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oooh, today's free lunch is sushi. Love it when that happens.

Coding and Sleeping

This is another recent picture of Saturn I really liked, it's backlit.

Earth is in it too, but it isn't easy to spot.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This is another recent picture of Saturn I really liked, it's backlit.

Yeah, I love that one. It's been my work desktop wallpaper for a few months now....

eta: And yeah, Earth is so tiny!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Shit I didn't say --

Motherfucker, we had the EXACT SAME CONVERSATION about getting me an assistant six months ago. And then I went and got a grant for half of the salary, and you want to hire some graduate student for half time and "ask for some money" for an assistant for me. YOU SAID THAT BEFORE AND IT HASN'T HAPPENED. Stop fucking around and handle MY business.

Art Crawl!!!

Okay we've been waiting for this one - right?

The Riches," 10 p.m. Mondays starting March 12, FX. I'm going to go out on a limb and call this spring's most promising new series: A Gypsy Traveler family on the run from their clan literally crash into the con of a lifetime, enabling them to steal the lives and identities of a rich family starting over in a subdivision where nobody knows who they are. Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver (barely recognizable when we first see her) head the cast, and the performances in the pilot are outstanding.

From the SeattlePI website.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I started reading b.org after Julie linked me to one of shrift's posts.

Does that mean I get half a toaster?

Now tagless for your comfort.

I got some strawberries at the grocery last night and we ate them at lunch today. They were FABULOUSLY DELICIOUS.

I'm thinking of having some more.

We had some really good raspberries last night.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Okay we've been waiting for this one - right?

I definately have. Izzard every week? Sign me up.

Plus some of the promos have been much sweeter than I expected the show to be.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I should go get blueberries so I can have cereal for lunch. Two days now I haven't had any for breakfast.

My headache specialist recommended upping my anti-convulsants. Either that or time has rendered me safe to drive again.
