Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Burrell, I googled up the recipe here: [link] I should start it tonight, but maybe not.

What is even happening?

Burrell, and Jesse, Nutty posted the recipe with some of her comments on making it, here: Nutty "Natter 48 Contiguous States of Denial" Nov 24, 2006 2:29:19 pm PST

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I tried on a lovely pair of jeans that were $150 and I realized that I just couldn't spend that much on jeans. A dress, yes; shoes, yes; jeans, no.

I would pay that much for a dress. Very not for shoes. Yet. But when I break it down, I'm in these things all the time. On a per wearage basis, $150 jeans come to be quite cost effective. But that's almost the inverse of how we budget for clothing.

Hey! What about the pair I sized for you??

Pre Kat? I use the question mark because I'm having a memory lapse. But I bought a pair with Kat, which went missing in the laundry, and she spoon fed me through replacing them, plus a spare.

Okay, back to lying down. Just had to turn down tickets to a cast and crew screening of 300. Because I teach. The unwilling Ghost Rider viewer is so jazzed about 300, but he's teaching too. I shouldn't ditch, because it's paid teaching, but if he ditches I'm skipping merrily too.

Probably not.

Back to lying down.

Kat was there too. But I picked the size and it fit you! That's why I remember.

ita, why do you deny poor Jesse the recognition that is her due? Is this a plot?

U.S. Tourist in Costa Rica Kills Mugger
By MARIANELA JIMENEZ, Associated Press Writer

Friday, February 23, 2007
(02-23) 10:20 PST SAN JOSE, Costa Rica (AP) --

An American senior citizen killed an alleged mugger with his bare hands, and his traveling companions aboard a tour bus fended off two other assailants in the Atlantic coast city of Limon, police said.

The American, who is about 70 years old and retired from the military, put the 20-year-old in a head lock and broke his clavicle after the suspect and two other men armed with a knife and gun held up their tour bus, said Luis Hernandez, the police chief of Limon, 80 miles east of San Jose. The suspect, Warner Segura, was later declared dead, apparently from asphyxiation.

The two other men fled when the 12 senior citizens started defending themselves during the Wednesday attack. Afterward, the tourists drove Segura to the Red Cross where he was declared dead. The Red Cross also treated one of the tourists for an anxiety attack, Hernandez said Thursday.

Fuck yeah! Arm the AARP!

Limon is where my sister lived. I don't think she killed anyone while she was there.

Oh, right, Jesse. Was that the time with the thing and the guy? Either way, you also are instrumental.

For the record--I'm now a 29. And a fucking hard to fit whatever I am. I don't want to hate my ass (kettlebell, baby!) but it's really making it hard to keep it decently covered.
