JetBlue has TV! Why doesn't everybody talk about this more!
Melinda Doolittle--
I love her a lot, although Bob's mom doesn't because she's too timorous for the business for her tastes. But fuck that, what a performance! Again, I cannot believe Lakisha was still better than *that.*
JetBlue has TV!
Yes, it does. A few years back I was flying home from NYC on SuperBowl Sunday. As we boarded the plane, the first half ended and many folks were watching the halftime show. They turned the tv's off for take off, right after Justin Timberlake was introduced.
When they turned the signal back on the announcers were talking about some controversy but never explained what the controversey was. Made for interesting conversations during the flight home. Finding out what really happened was almost a disappointment.
Good Luck, ND!
Theo, thanks, but I slept through the night (well, mostly, except for the hacking), and got an urgent care appointment at 11:30 am. So I'm taking the day off (which makes my 3rd week of work at the new job a 6-hour work-week). Hopefully they will give me good drugs; I promise to behave myself at Escapade and get plenty of rest.
OMG how funny is that story about the news anchor with the poster of Ronon? I love it!
Tazo Awake tea:
Nothing like waking up to find out that the cover story in the local paper is about a program I'm running, and that nobody actually talked to me about...
For Bayistas: it's the story above the fold in today's Chronicle.

Oh, that's..... interesting. Eep.
Kat, you deboated?
JetBlue has TV! Why doesn't everybody talk about this more!
Emmett does, all the time. "That's the only airline I want to fly on, okay?"
I don't think I knew this. You can watch actual TV on JetBlue? I may reconsider my anti-JFK stance to give it a whirl.
There was the time that the JetBlue plane had landing gear problems, and the passengers were watching their plane on CNN!
Yeah, I don't care if this one time people got stranded for twelve hours. They had TV! (At least, I hope they did.) This one time I sat on a runway, in July, for four hours, anticipating seeing my family after being abroad for seven months. They can't run the a/c while on the ground and this was before a six hour flight. We were delayed two of those hours because a passenger passed out in the heat and we had to return to the gate, get her off, and get in the back of the line to take off. But it would have been bearable with TV.

Just in case you need to see fluffy puppies.
