I just saw a state farm commercial where some one drove into a house. I just realized that that would be difficult to do at my house. if you didn't use the driveway you would hit a tree. if you used the driveway - you'd hit the cars. if there were no cars, you would have to steer to hit anything other than the garage. which would be bad -- but we have plans for that part of the house anyway. So one less worry for me.
ETA: yes I just woke up from a nap
Timelies all!
Happy Birthday Katie M!
Perqs? What are those?(I work for the government, and not at the level where perqs exist)
Yay for mac & mommabelle!
I live within stone's throw of Sts. Peter & Paul, so today is all about the elderly Italians with smudges on their foreheads.
If someone wants to drive into my house, I suggest they pick a vehicle that has treads, and preferably a 120mm cannon to soften it up first. A 30 inch trunk oak tree bounced off it when knocked over by 100mph straightline winds; I think the sides facing the roads would stop a semi before it made it all the way in.
Sts. Peter & Paul,
Where Marilyn and Joe got married!
(I loved that church.)
I read that wrong - Joe DiMaggio and his first wife were married there. READ AIMEE.
I love that church too! I was incredibly disappointed that I wasn't able to go inside the last time I was in SF. Just didn't have the time.
(My God, was the last time really in 2000? Seven frakking years?)

Clearly, you need to come visit. Now.

Hell yes. I want to make trouble.
You don't
make
trouble in North Beach. It just sort falls into your lap, drunk and full of goodness.
