Could just be a hoax, though. I fake some headaches, everyone gets used to poor helpless Spike. Then one day, no warning, I snap a spine, bend a head back, drain 'em dry. Brilliant.

Well congrats to the Dixie Chicks. I'm never up this late, so off to bed with me....

Because books.

Apparently, the Masterpiece Theatre Dracula is AU fanfic.

That's what I've heard. I've also heard that watching it might make my head hurt.

It was ... weird. But if they really wanted to do their cracktastic version right, they should have done ... well, more. In the end, it was fairly pretty, but too short to sustain all the major plot changes. Very half-hearted, all in all. Also, I really didn't like Marc Warren as Dracula.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just had the fucking tastiest Indian meal I've had in a long time. I decided to go for the restaurant's variant on Tandoori which was lovely--I haven't had Tandoori to live up to what I've had in England, and my partner in crime went off his usual chicken tikka masala to order something that had mango and cashew and coconut in the sauce, and it was so tasty I had major envy. Then I kept eating mine, and gained peace.

Wish I could remember the names of either meal. Well, we go there a lot, so I'll make a note next time.

Sadly, he's suffering from a cold, so I was the only one who knew how freaking great it was.

Wanna trade on that last one? Maybe I can get more in the mood to do yours than I can to do mine.

I told Joe if he really loved me, he'd do it for me. Sadly, it looks as though he does not *really* love me.

Things I am:

  • adding genres to uncategorised songs in my iTunes library
  • achey
  • listening to random songs

Guess I'm not much.

Amhala Dhaba on Westwood just north of Santa Monica on the west side of the road. It's a standard of mine, but I usually default to the curry goat. I need to be doing more exploration of their menu.

Oh, and their mango lassi is killer.
