And you're sure this isn't just some fanboy thing? 'Cause I've fought more than a couple pimply, overweight vamps that called themselves Lestat.

Art Crawl!!!

I have to say that I've not had that problem with Amazon, but if I did I would avoid them too.

Have you guys seen a British decorating show called "The Wow Factor'? It's an hour long show and I missed about the first 20 minutes but I like the way they take you through the process from proposal to the end (I assume).

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Also also - Megan, I'll be happy to help with apartment looking/advising. There's certain companies to avoid on Craigslist, and I can ask around to see if anyone has units coming up that they're not advertising.

Thanks juliana, if it comes to that, I certainly could use all the help I can get. I have to finish out the semester here, so it definitely won't be until at least mid-May.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I want to go to brenda's! Chili and beer.

I have some chicken stroganoff in the crock pot. I'm still in my pj's, though. And, I have no intention of getting out of them.

I have some chicken stroganoff in the crock pot.

Mmm, that sounds good. Recipe?

I've never had it, but it's in my Betty Crocker Slow Cooker Cookbook. I'll report back after supper!

1 envelope chicken gravy mix
1 can condensed chicken broth
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1" cubes
1 bag (16 oz) frozen stew vegetables, thawed & drained
1 jar (4 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 C sour cream
1 T all-purpose flour
1 1/2 C Bisquick
4 medium green onions
1/2 C milk
1 C frozen green peas, thawed

1. Mix gravy mix and broth in slow cooker until smooth. Stir in chicken, stew vegs and mushrooms.

2. Cover and cook on low heat setting for about 4 hours or until chicken is tender.

3. Mix sour cream and flour. Stir mixture into chicken mixture. Cover and cook on high heat setting 20 minutes.

4. Mix baking mix and onions. Stir in milk just until moistened. Stir in peas. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonsful onto chicken-veg mixture.

5. Cover and cook on high heat setting 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of topping comes out clean.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

My new mattress and box spring are here, and I made the bed with clean sheets and I ate lunch and put my dishes in the dishwasher.

That means I get to nap for the rest of the long weekend, right?

Huh. Doesn't sound like Stroganoff but it does sound good. You'll have to let us know.

What is even happening?

Well, you've got to try out that new bed, Lee. I mean, the only way you'll truly know it's right is by extensive testing. I see no choice but to nap.
