Somebody please tell me to get off my ass and do stuff. I'm planning to make chicken chili, corn bread, and blueberry almond banana bread. Also to vacuum. And do laundry. And those are only the must-dos - there's a lot else that needs doing.
What I
have
done is drink a pot of coffee, go out for bagels, watch Monk, Bones, a couple of SGA reruns, some Daily Shows, and taken a bunch of pictures of the dog.
John, Amazon has it for Under $50.00, but the dvds include only the first 13 episodes.
Megan, Juliana or One of the Zmayhems would be better judges, but I would guess about 1300-1600 for a one bedroom.
Somebody needs to get to the bottom of whatever is beneath SF that seems to exert a serious buffista gravitational pull.
From beneath us it devours, or at least sucks.
Ooh, , Deep Discount has the Robin of Sherwood dvds for $38.99.
Cautious, optimistic, pre-final-decision ...um...congratulations! (That should foil all jinxes.)
So instead of getting dressed and running my errands, I slept late and then spent an awfully long time in my pjs. But I'm really about to head out the door. Really. As soon as I put my socks on.
I finally bit the bullet and scrubbed out my bathroom floor after far too long with only cursory cleaning. It always depresses me, as there's flapper-era grime that won't come up short of remodelling the whole thing, and no amount of bleach and scrubbing will ever make that tile sparkly white again.
At least I can take comfort in the fact that every germ (and the outer two layers of my skin) have been Cloroxed into oblivion.
Also, the smell of bleach and the sight of what I was cleaning up seem as effective an appetite supressant as yesterday's solution.

Much less fun, though.
(Unless I'm missing something in bathroom cleaning technique.)
"Children Of The Porn".
Hee!!!
I'm skewed like woah, but 1300-2000 is a good estimate.
Also, YAY MEGAN IN SF!!!
Also also - Megan, I'll be happy to help with apartment looking/advising. There's certain companies to avoid on Craigslist, and I can ask around to see if anyone has units coming up that they're not advertising.
