Oog. Dim sum with Daniel in an hour, dinner with my family around 5. It's a good thing I had all those ice days to rest up for this weekend.

are they making their living off that blog? If not, how is it that they only update during business hours?

They're writers in LA, so they may well have other things they're working on, but I think the site is a pretty significant source of income.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think the site is a pretty significant source of income.

The ad revenue can be pretty sizeable.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

As my niece, who shaves her head, pointed out, shaving one's head is not in itself a sign of a mental breakdown. (I said, have you met you?) Britney does however seem to be... breaking down. I really feel sorry for her. Seems like she just hit the limit of what she could handle.

Your daily TMI: Yesterday I gave in to necessity and rented a storage bin, and today when I should be hauling crap out of my closets, I'm cramping like a bitch and don't wanna move. I haven't had cramps like this in ages. this SUCKS.

I can't even.

I almost bought the UK Robin of Sherwood DVDs a while back. And then a very nice TWoP poster sent me video copies for no reason at all, which was amazing of her. I loved it in high school, and the love (most particularly of Ray Winstone, though Nickolas Grace was pretty awesome as well) did remain, but I do think on review the oddball character moments were a lot more interesting than the, well, plots.

I have all the eps on vhs in a box somewhere, but they were mostly home-taped in the 80s off a sometimes dodgy PBS signal, so I'm glad to finally have the chance to upgrade.

John Swedon -- the dvds I linked to are region 1 Robin of Sherwood dvds that are coming out in mid-March. I had to delete the five dvds from my queue one at a time.

They come in p/i/n/t/s quints? I'm getting one. They've been available from the UK in a region 1 format for years. The problem was it was about 200 quid for the whole set, which I thought excessive even for an old 80s obsession. It will be great to see some of those eps on digital, as they were beautifully shot considering the budget, and the english countryside was one of the main characters, it seemed. The Clannad soundtrack set me off on a pursuit of their every last album, ep, single, bootleg, etc. Good times.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Question for the... SFistas? Bayistas? Children of the Porn? Whatever you call yourselves, if one were thinking of moving to your fair city, what could one expect to pay for a 1-bedroom apartment? This would be for around June 1.

I'm not attached to any particular neighborhood, but if I could put off buying a car, that would be a good thing. My office would be just south of Market, just off the Embarcadero.

Any basic number you could throw my way to give me an idea would be helpful.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

How confident are you about said move, megan?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Somebody needs to get to the bottom of whatever is beneath SF that seems to exert a serious buffista gravitational pull.
