See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Yes. Yes, he hates you all. I believe his exact words were, "What was up with all the kindness and support and making you feel less hopeless and isolated and rendering you actually capable of smiling at me when I came home last night? What a bunch of bitches!"

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

JZ, I'm glad you're feeling a little better today.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Well. I asked that because he did express some frustration when some of us suggested that citing Emmett's inability to sleep through the night until age 5 might not have been the best thing to say at that particular moment.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm a really funny, well moisturized feminist.

Heh.

I got to have my meeting early! I still have to stay here until god knows when, though.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Instead of A root, we could get Roots.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Allyson, that is insane. I hate Joe Rogan quite tremendously, so I'd love to hear a third party opinion of this. I see no reason to doubt the core of Joe's facts, but I'm suspicious of the garnish.

Root! Root for bon!

God, it's so weird thinking that Bob's known bon less long than we have...we got to see bits and pieces of it play out, all the way from the beginning to the schmoop and the proposal.

Mega cool.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh yeah, also what Steph said.

I'm getting into kind of a let's-change-the-subject mood.

Seriously.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Re the Rogan thing-- yeah, everyone thinks Rogan is a dick. OTOH, everyone also knows that Holness steals. So it's kind of like watching two douches fight. Can't say I'm on Holness's side on this one, though.

I've also been hearing more and more through this that-- don't tell erinaceous-- Denis Leary's act was taken wholesale from Bill Hicks, and that's why comics hate him. And recently there's been some grumblings about Dane Cook's thefts from Louis CK and Demetri Martin.

ETA: you guys are making me blush!
