Oh, at first it was confusing. Just the idea of computers was like — whoa! I'm eleven hundred years old! I had trouble adjusting to the idea of Lutherans.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

A visit to the set of Angel is up on ebay: benefiting the Starbright Foundation. In case anyone's interested, and has a couple of thou extra to donate.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'll be adding more info throughout the week, including our special rate for rooms, but here's the beginnings of things...

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

We're trying to get a feel for how many people are/would be able to attend both of the potential F2F locations. This poll is informal, and will be open for at least a few days.

Would go/might go/can't go poll.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I believe vampires are the world's greatest golfers

Halfway through sending out Gift Exchange messages tonight I was interrupted by a pathetically ill Blue Eyed Boy (the full story involves stomach flu - you really don't want to know any more). I hope to finish sending out the announcements tomorrow.

If you sent me an email about participating and don't hear from me by Sunday, or if you foresee any problems getting a gift to the Buffista whose name you received, email me at my profile address.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

One more thing and then I'll shut up about California already. (:

As a couple people mentioned an interest in coming to the Beyond Baroque gig in Venice, which is at 10 p.m. we were wondering if people might want to get together a bit earlier somewhere in the vacinity. Van Gogh's Ear maybe? That didn't do something stupid like close while I've been gone, has it? I'm so out of touch.

Also, access to Internet will be limited while I'm gone, so if someone wants to marshall the Laista troops, maybe they can shoot me their phone number. Profile address works.

Need. Vacation. Now.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I offered, and Nilly graciously relieved me of the task, to host a slacker secret santa this year if there is interest. I think if there are at least 5 to 10 people interested it would be worth doing. If you could just stop in to Bureacracy and let us know if there is interest, that would be great!
