Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey LAistas! Anyone up for a party on May 20th to celebrate/mourn the end of Buffy? I'd still love to host a hootenanny. If you're interested, drop me an email at my profile address.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm posting here so this doesn't get lost in Natter.

Do you know of anyone using a wiki* for a fandom-related project? Or have you used wikis in other projects and have either joys or nightmares to share?

I have this nagging idea that it'd be a fantastic technology for a general resource/history/encyclopedia of internet fan culture, and I really don't want to dive into a huge and consuming project if someone's already doing it better....

Profile addy is good.

* wiki is a collaborative writing/editing software that can be used for anything from FAQs to encyclopedias. Anyone can add, anyone can edit. It's cool stuff.

I posted this earlier, then deleted the link. If anyone wants/knows of someone who wants an apartment in the Baltimore area, please contact me at my profile addy.

Rent will be somewhere around $500, utilities most likely included. The only drawback is that you have to go to a laundromat to do laundry. Parking is on-street, but plentiful. It's a non-smoking apartment, and the landlady only wants to rent to a single occupant.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Attention Somervillains and other New Englandistas:

It's the end of the world as we know it, and we have margaritas.

Well, not right now, but we will, because on TUESDAY, MAY 20, Buffy the Vampire is coming to an end, and we want you--yes, YOU--to join us for a send-off party at out digs in Worcester. Why Worcester? Why not? World gonna end - where else would you want to be?

Festivities start around 6 p.m. As anyone who's ever been here knows, there will be some foodstuffs. And by some, we mean porn--as in near-pornographic amounts. But hey, more's always welcome, and beverages are ALWAYS appreciated.

Please, please, please RSVP, so we know how many folks will be here. Don't make us sic the ferrets on you!

Profile address is good.

LAISTAS-- I hereby forward a message which might be of interest to all or sundry of you. It's from Jane Espenson.

Your friend and mine, Danny Strong (Buffy's Jonathan), is in a movie that opens this weekend. It's called "New Suit" It's supposed to be a very funny satire in the spirit of "Swimming with Sharks" or "The Player", and it won a number of film festivals. It's at the Beverly Center, and at the AMC 14 in Burbank. Danny is hoping for a big opening turnout, so I thought I'd help out by passing this along. Even if you go alone, you may want to buy ten tickets, because why not?

If ya wanna know more, here is the website for the film - >[link]
