Sir? I'd like you to take the helm, please. I need this man to tear all my clothes off.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Hi all. Because a number of real-life concerns are dominating my attention right now, I'm hereby stepping-down as a Stompy-Foot so I can concentrate my already brain-damaged focus on other things.

Will still be around, just can't white -font your posts and stuff anymore.

My foot shall stomp no more.

I, too, am vacating my position. I'm a devoted Buffista, but I don't think I have as much to offer in an administrative capacity as others, and ongoing events in my life and the world make the Stomp job a bit much.

As with Victor, I'll still be around, just not in a thread-making or Press-natter deleting capacity.

*smoochies* to you all.

Okay. I didn't want to say anything until it was all official and Tim gave me the go ahead. [Because thanks but accidentally leaking the Firefly news last year almost gave me a nervous breakdown.] But the word is now out on Tim's plans for next season.

A friend passed along information about a group called the SIBL project (Songs Inspired by Literature) that is based in Northern California.

They have two benefit CDs for sale, all the profits going toward adult literacy programs. Some of the donating artists are Bruce Springsteen, Grace Slick, David Bowie, Tom Waits, and Aimee Mann.

It seemed like a Buffista-ly charity, and I don't remember seeing it mentioned here..

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

A good on-line petition to sign if you want to oppose the continuing invasion; people from all over the world are welcome; this is an international campaign:

Warning: part of the idea is to publicly come out against the war. So if you sign this, you are putting your name, city and country out there publicly, where anyone can read them. You also give you e-mail address privately - which is not shared. Obviously you should not sign unless you in a position where you can do that. Also the statement is very uncompromising. Again, obviously, you should read it and only sign it if you agree with it:

There are more than 36,000 signature currently. Initial signers include:

Ezequiel Adamovsky, Vittorio Agnoletto, Michael Albert, Tariq Ali, Patrick Bond, Leslie Cagan, Noam Chomsky, Bill Fletcher, Eduardo Galeano, Susan George, Marta Harnecker, Boris Kagarlitsky, George Monbiot, Suren Moodlar, Hector Mondragon, Tanya Reinhart, Carola Reintjes, Arundhati Roy, Lydia Sargent, Howard Zinn

If you want to go directly to the signup form it is at:

Thanks

All is well that ends in pizza.

Hi all,

I finally am named on IMDB, as I was a production assistant on two short films when I was in LA. At least one of them made it to the IMDB, but my name wasn't listed. Now it finally is.

I was a production assistant...meaning slightly above a gopher. And I drove down to Hollywood every time we needed more film. and basically helped out on all phases of production. Slept overnight to guard sets at least one night.

Not *the* Independence day, another one.

Ours was first.
