PROPOSAL ANNOUNCEMENT
We have a new proposal to vote on, which should really help hammer out our procedures. The current version is here: Sophia Brooks "Bureaucracy 1: Like Kafka, Only Funnier" Mar 12, 2003 10:34:02 am EST
Discussion will go until 12:01 am Sunday, board time, at which point voting will start and go until 11:59 pm Tuesday, board time.
Next ScoopMe article is up. Spoilers clearly marked at the bottom, one can read it and not get spoiled if one doesn't scroll past the spoiler mark.
Per usual, spoilery for unAmericans, for this season's Angel.

Hail Buffistas!
The time to vote again is at hand:
We are voting on:
ITEM 1: FORMAL DISCUSSION THREAD
Do we want a separate thread for actual voting discussions?
ITEM 2: CLOSE DISCUSSION
Do we want to close the talking about a subject when the voting starts?
ITEM 3: VOTER TURNOUT
How many Buffistas does it take to make a vote count?
Do votes of "no preference" count toward this?
ITEM 4: SECONDS
a) Should more than one Buffista be needed in order to move something to formal discussion and vote?
b) Please choose a minimum number of people who have to agree with the original proposer before a proposal moves to formal discussion, if the above item passes.
The voting form and revised proposal are here:

A first for me, posting on Sunnydale Press:
According to a poster at the BC&S:
"I just wanted to let you know that Jane Espenson is going to be at Ball State University this Friday doing a talk called "Writing Buffy". She will be in the Arts and Journalism building from 12:00-12:50 in room 175.
The biography attatched to her visit announcement claims that she has co-written
"End of Days",
the final episode of Buffy.
BSU is in Muncie, Indiana, about an hour away from Indy and two from Dayton.
If you can make it, do go. It would be great to have a large showing of support for Jane."
I love listening to Jane talk about writing during her Succubus Club appearances. She's funny, interesting, and smart.
