I've been so, terribly out of touch lately. I miss everyone who is not on facebook!
And, this is me, asking for your vote again in the City Paper Best of poll. I've been riding the bench in second place for 6 years and really want that top slot!
If you would be so kind (and forgive my lurky ways), you can find the ballot here, along with a download of an ebook I'm super proud of: [Link]
The ebook is about turning around over-thinking with well-crafted intentions.
I hope you enjoy it, and thanks for your support!
(No lie, the City Paper brings in about 80% of my non-personal referrals. And, referrals are the life's blood for this solopreneur.)
Hey Buffistas. My brother-the-ID-doctor forwarded some recommendations for work and home hygiene practices to help prevent infection, and I have posted them here.. Hope they help!
Mini Buffistas: I am reading a story on Facebook like at 2pm CST on Facebook Live.

Plugging for my niece, Rachel Harrison. Her first novel, The Return, came out yesterday. Check it out.
Tonight is Kristen's directorial debut on 911 on Fox. She's a little nervous. Give her some love if you watch!
The transition to the new website is about to enter the early stages. No changes are imminent yet, but to prepare it is a good idea to make sure your profile address is good as it will be used for password recovery.
If any mini buffistas are looking for story times, I've been doing some FB Live story times for my library.
Here's the link from this morning:

Another quick reminder. If you don't know your password, please make sure your profile addy is still good as you'll need it to reset your password when we move to the new site.
That clock has started ticking on moving to the new site because of changes by our hosting provider.
I added a new thread on the test site called 'Break Glass' if this site goes down. I can give updates there for standing up the new site.
Test site: [link]
If you reset your password to get onto the test site, you'll still have to reset again after the actual move. You don't have to change your password, but you do have to reset it so the new site can encode it more securely. (By encode, I mean a one way hash so your actual password is not stored. The same is true now, but the new site uses a newer and more secure hashing method)
Hello, my loves. As those of you on fb know, I raise money every month through a "direct giving as reparations" model to support the work of several Black female activists on the ground. Right now I am raising money for Voix Noire - you can read more about their work here - [link]
I'm having trouble raising funds this month - there's a $300 match, so all we have to do is hit $300 to make goal. If you've got a roof over your head and good in your fridge, please consider contributing $5 or $10. Thank you! [link]
I know I'm not here much these days, but I do lurk and read some and y'all are my forever fam.
