Can I ask if people are still interested in meeting in LA this summer? Or has that desire changed? I wasn’t ever going to do anything elaborate, but if there’s interest, I can still put together some basic info.
Discussion in ita’s thread.

Voting is now open for the following proposal:
Should we open threads to discuss the Marvel Cinematic Universe and/or streaming shows?
The full proposal and discussion starts here.
Voting closes Wednesday (April 29, 2015) at 7pm (PDT).
(questions should be posted in Bureaucracy)
Voting Results:
1) Add a new thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). This includes movies, television series, and streaming media. The spoiler policy would be as follows:
- White font for two weeks for movies and streaming content which is presented all at once.
- White font until east coast airing for content on television or streaming content presented weekly.
- Talking about comics in context of the MCU is welcomed, but plots and character details that have not appeared in the MCU. should be white fonted.

My roommate is selling some nice vases on Ebay, as well as some handsome prints of Irish counties. If you or someone you know is interested in these things, could you let them know?
Did either of those threads get opened? Because I don't see them anywhere if they did.
Details still need hammered out in bureaucracy.
Attention New Yorkers! Caroll Spinney, the puppeteer responsible for Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch, is having in-person Q&A sessions at the IFC Center tonight at 7:15, tomorrow at 7:25, and Saturday at 5:15 pm.
Am taking suggestions over on fbook & twitter for the best kind of contest to give away my last remaining ARC.
Which I will be doing next week.
[note to file, if you buying a copy of Updraft or getting it through a library is a hardship and you and wish to read it come September, I will help figure out a way you can do so. Am working out a few possibilities for how this will work still (might be a version of the traveling book), and I can't afford to make this offer outside of buffistas, but b.org is specifically mentioned in the acknowledgements, and it's important to me to do this here.]
