As today is the first day of Spring, I want to wish everyone a NoRouz Mobarak - Happy Persian New Year. I love this day, a fresh start in so many ways. One of the Persian New Year traditions is to go visiting friends and family. While I can't visit each of you in person - if I could, I would.

This is one of my favorite holidays in that it crosses all religion, it celebrates rebirth and renewal, and it literally means New Day.

Because books.

If anyone knows an author who's writing women's fiction (more plot, a little less romance, but romance in the plot is fine) or mysteries featuring female sleuths (cozies, comedies, even historicals, are welcome), they're welcome to submit to me at amy.garvey@gmail.com, or at this link, through Submittable: [link]

Lyrical Press is an e-press through Kensington Publishing. No advances are offered, but the author does receive royalties on each book sold. They're actively soliciting the type of books mentioned above. Spread the word, if you can, and let any writer friends know? Thanks!

One of my BFF's of 20+ years has a GoFundMe for an Art Room Document cam. It's her first ever campaign like this and she is an AMAZING art teacher, for the last years. She asked for $200, needs $110

If interested, share or donate? [link]

GRAZIE!

ETA: They made their goal! Anyone here who donated, THANK YOU!!!
