What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So next year I'm going to be writing book reviews for Lightspeed. Yeah. That is a thing that is happening in my life.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I can get up to 4 complimentary tickets for SMOKEFALL at the Goodman Theatre for Wednesday, October 8, at 7:30 p.m. It really is a wonderful show. Contact me at my profile addy, or text if you have my #.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Queries:

1 -- Nail Round Robin: where can I get the sreadsheet? I have a slew of polishes to contribute.

2 -- Would anyone be interested in round-robin of sports/fitness stuff? Like clean yoga tanks/legging, DVD's, deflated stability balls, old FitBits, etc. Or maybe not a round-robin, but a listing-sending?

Just a thought...

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So maybe we should call a halt? (To be discussed elsewhere)

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I'm pretty pleased with this interview on Eater that got published today on a New Orleans bartending institution, Paul Gustings. [link]

Compassionately intolerant

DC's biggest local magazine is collecting votes for the best pet behaviorist in the area.

Please vote for Bonny, the doggy lama.

As you can imagine, this town runs on accolades. My business depends on referrals and I could really use the votes.

Many, MANY thanks!
