I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

Our wings are not tired.

Hey awesome people - we are at $4,365 for the Ginger fund (I've been transferring the money to her directly out of Paypal as it comes in).

I've seen many of you excellent folks sharing the link on Facebook - thank you! We've received a lot of funds from friends of friends, so even if you can't donate, please consider Tweeting or Facebooking or Tumblring the link so that the widest circle possible is being covered.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Here's what went down last night:

Looking at the logs, it looks like there was an issue with the vserver host machine. The machine was rebooted

So, out of our control.

Buffistas.info is now pointing to tumblr! (DNS changes should be propagating for the next day or two, but tumblr has accepted us into the fold of custom URLs)

So buffistas.tumblr.com will redirect to buffistas.info, which is powered by yahoo's tumblr--biggest upshot being that if both are unavailable at the same time, something BIG is going down, or your computer is broken.

You do not need any sort of tumblr membership to read. I am trying to keep up following back people who follow, with the assumption that y'all are...y'all. There are only a couple functionalities that this will ensure, mostly that you can reply to posts without having followed it for two weeks. if I have missed out, it's because I'm not monitoring it frequently.

Which reminds me, admins--email me at my profile addy so I can make sure you're all set up so you can post there too, and that you're set up with the admins email addresses, pls?

For discussion of services to be set up on the new host, please adjourn to b'not as crazy as it has been in year past.

We are SO VERY CLOSE to achieving our $6k goal for Ginger! If any of you want to give it one last push on the social media platform of your choice, I'd be grateful.

If anyone has tumblr template experience, even up to just choosing good free ones, please meet me in BBABB++. I chose simple for buffistas.info, and it's making me fall asleep. I'd love it to look, you know, either like here or like Buffy-something.

Thanks to Amy's help, the first iteration of making b.info look a bit homier and less homely is complete. I'll look at putting our B in over the weekend. Well, a weekend.

(If you'd like to join, I definitely have a group for Macbeth and I may also be attempting Othello. Will certainly have a group for Coriolanus in January 2014.)
