Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

So, I opened my mail this week, and amongst the bills and the ads for dating services and thai take-out, is a card from the Buffistas, and a gift certificate to Burke Williams. Shall I get a facial? A massage? The mani-pedi combo treatment? Who knows? World is my oyster.

I don't know how you managed to do it with nary a hint. It made my whole week. And I got all teary, and then i didn't know what to say, and don't know why you all did it, but I'm very grateful, and honored that such fabu people love me right back.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Does anyone want/need a copy of the OMWF soundtrack or the three tape box set "The Buffy and Angel Chronicles" (with Surprise, Innocence, Passion, I only have eyes for you, and Becoming I & II)? I'm trying to do some weeding of my collections. My profile address is good, and I'd be happy to ship them to the first person who emails.

edited to say these have both been claimed.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

This is a periodic reminder that I maintain the Buffista Photo Gallery. If you want your picture to be included, you can email it to me at my profile address. High resolution is better. Note that if you click on a thumbnail, you get a bigger version of the photo, so try not to send me tiny images. I will take care of cropping and shrinking as I see fit.

I posted about this in Buffy yesterday and have since received pictures from Sophia, Rebecca Lizard, Schmoker, Arby, Min, and someone named Rachel to whom I just replied to find out her user name. :)

I will try to load them up in the next few days, but it may not happen until the weekend.

A fellow makes himself conspicuous when he throws soft-boiled eggs at the electric fan.

If you are going to be in DC next Saturday, March 1, and have money to just throw away, I'm giving an all-day program at the Smithsonian. Called "Word-Lover's Boot Camp."

The link is here.

Feel free to tell your rich relatives and bosses about it!

[They didn't tell me that it was going to be so expensive. Last time I did something at the Smithsonian it was an evening program, and cheap. :-(]
