Lightbulbs is now open to discuss my following proposal:
It will no longer be considered a spoiler to reveal guest stars in upcoming episodes of a new or existing show as long as the actor is new to the show.
The scope of this proposal does not include revealing any character or plot details about the role. Just the actor's name.

Happy new year, Buffistas! If you're not broke after The Holiday Season, please do consider sending a few bucks toward the upkeep of this here board. You can send it via paypal to donations at buffistas dot org, or email me (at that address or any other you might have for me) for my mailing address if you'd prefer to send a check.
Thanks, all!
An author friend is in need of transcription help (paid). She has about 8-10 hours of interviews that need to be transcribed by January 31. They are in good quality MP3 format. Some technical content but not physics (genetics and neuro, mostly).
If you're interested, please email me at allyson dot beatrice @gmail dot com and let me know what your rate is, and I'll pass it along to the author. Thanks!

Hey, I wrote a thing! A brief review of an extremely creepy and weirdly wrenching graphic novel (well, I guess, actually a graphic memoir, except that it's not very graphic, especially considering its subject matter. It's also an expansion of a 20-page comic book, but not comic in the least. Ah, English language, you scamp, you.).
Hopefully this'll get me to kick my own ass into writing slightly more things slightly more often.
Please click the clicky-link and forward to anyone else who might be interested in creepy and weirdly wrenching graphic true stories.
