I'm a single undead gal trying to make it in the big city. I have to start somewhere and they're evil here. They don't judge. They've got necro-tempered glass. No burning up. A great medical plan, and who needs dental more than us?

“Not dead yet!”

Since Typo suggested I do this, as it's release day for STARS, you can check out this page on my site: [link]

Down at the bottom, there are direct links to amazon, B&N, Borders, and IndieBound, which will hook you up with your nearest local indie bookstore. For YA authors, it's especially important to support the indie bookstores but I'm good with whatever works best for an individual.

Thank you again, guys! So much.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Everyone participating in the secret gift exchange thingymabob, check that you put your mailing address in your profile on elfster. Otherwise I will be forced to tell your gifters that you live at my address and then I will mock you with pictures of the gifts that could have been yours, or you know, something.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Esp for those interested in genealogy and also useful for those who have adoption in their heritage and are looking for medical info, 23andMe is offering a $400 discount on their genealogy/med DNA pkg. I've seen several discount codes today although I have not seen anything saying when this offer expires. Anyway, $99 for this package is a VERY good price.

Unfortunately, they've added some monthly contract which will bring the true cost of things up to something around $150, but it's still a deal.

“Not dead yet!”

More bookish stuff. The first moment of terror has crept in-- local BN has no plans to carry STARS, although several of the other area stores are. However, reports of sightings in the wild would be awesome, if and when folks are out in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey, all! Don't forget -- if you're shopping at Amazon, if you use this link [link] we'll get a percentage! There are links for the UK and Canadian Amazon sites, as well as Powell's, on the Links page, too!

Swouncing

Slacker Secret Santa: All of you who want to exchange presents with other Buffistas but haven't mailed the nicest about it yet, this is your chance!

Please send your info (board name and snail-mail address) to my profile address until the 10th of December. By then, I'll match you up to pairs of givers and recipients, and let you know which is who.

Even though it's titled with the word "Slacker" in it, you do remember that last year we voted on a gift-deadline of March, right? It doesn't mean you can't slack, just that there's a limit to it. Hope it's OK.

Your truly,
Absolutely-not-Tiny Jewish not-Santa

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Today is our next irregularly scheduled Onerous Task Day.

Should you choose to play along please join us at 2pm EST / 11am PST and cross that lingering, avoided, onerous task off your to-do list.

Make that call, fill out those forms, read that Faulkner, file those invoices, update your files, enter that data, pill that dog, clean out those gutters and get over the hump of hump day.
