And now my boy's in love. All hearts and flowers. But, doesn't it freak you out that she used to change your diapers? I mean, when you think about it, the first woman you boned is the closest thing you've ever had to a mother. Doing your mom and trying to kill your dad. Hm. There should be a play.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Nail Polish Exchange, round 2.

The big box of nail polish that has been making its way around the country for the past several months has made its way back to me, which means that I'm going to play with it this weekend, and then send it on to Seattle for another round.

Is there anyone who would like to participate in this go-round that wasn't in the last one? Just shoot me an email and I will add you to the list.

All is well that ends in pizza.

From his self-penned epitaph:

"Keep Looking Up was my life's admonition,
I can do little else in my present position."

Compassionately intolerant

DCistas: Groupon has a great zipcar discount going on today.

$35 for a one year membership + a $50 driving credit. ($125 value)

If you'd like to grab the groupon and would not mind doing me a solid in the process, please use this link.

I have a growing need for access to a car when my very generous friends cannot oblige, so this is a real boon to me.

There is some commentary worth checking out in the groupon forums about whether or not frequent visitors to the area can sign up as well.

NOTE: The offer is so popular, one cannot redeem the groupon until tomorrow, but be sure to nab yours today!

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I finally decided to join some friends for a charity ride this weekend benefiting the LiveStrong foundation. My plan is to aim for a total 40 or 50 miles, divided into 10 mile chunks. If you have any spare charity money would you please consider donating for me? I have until Thursday to raise any remaining funds.

Thanks!

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

September is my birthmonth so I decided to make my album "Songs the Brothers Warner Taught Me" available on a "pay what you want - even nothing" basis until 11:59pm Pacific Time, Sept. 8

If you've been curious about what I do, now's the time to check it out. [link]
