Drollerie Press is celebrating a slew of new ebook releases on Sunday in our chat at 9PM EST (link will be on the front page at [link] 3 different collections of fairy tales, a serial killer mystery set in Las Vegas, an epic f/f fantasy, a YA fantasy, and an erotic horror novella.

Sales from the mystery, The Eyes Die Last by new author Teri Riggs, will be used to support the Brenda Novak auction in support of juvenile diabetes research, so we'll also be talking about that and everyone who visits the chat and promises to blog about the auction will receive a free copy of the book. Of course, we'll also hold drawings throughout the chat to give away a copy of all the other books.

If you can come, I'd love to see you. It's always great to see my peeps pop in.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I have a new post up at Cocktail Party Physics, a little review of science books for kids:

We have been talking about the need to settle on a time/place for this year's East Coast F2F. Many people had evinced interest in pimping their favorite eastern towns, but right now it looks like we only have active pimpers for Philly and NYC. We're trying to get initial research done by the end of this coming weekend so we can vote and move forward starting next week. If you are interested, head over to F2F. (IOW, pimp now, or forever hold your pimp. Which just sounds wrong on so many levels.)

Slacker Secret Santas and ungifted folk. I just posted in Goodbye that I will collect names of those who are on the way to the post office, those who are not able to give, those who haven't received, and those who are willing alternates. My profile addy is good.

Please let me know your "status" by Friday. I will coordinate with Nilly (since she has the master list, but we all know she is insanely busy), and try to get responses out over the weekend.

Hear ye, hear ye: If you are interested in chiming in about when this year's F2F should be held, hie thee over to the F2F thread. We will hold a vote once we have a spread of dates to consider.

Hear ye, hear ye: to gather data and make some progress in picking F2F 2010, I've put together a little survey. This is non-binding (we aren't voting yet) but will give us a better sense of which dates/places are most viable.

Take it here: Click here to take survey

My magazine is looking for a new science fiction columnist. We're a monthly publication for a general, nationwide audience, and the column would recommend three books a month, roughly 200 words per book. Here is the most recent column.

We don't pay a lot, but it's a steady gig, plus free books! If anyone is interested, please email me at my profile address, and include writing samples if you've got 'em. We would start you off with a trial review of one book, and go from there.
