Calling all Somervillains! I've a real yen to see
Talk to Her,
a new Almodovar film (from Spain! In Spanish! With
subtitles!).
It's playing at the Kendall Square Cinema in Cambridge, which is near the Cambridgeside Galleria and the Museum of Science. There are Sunday shows at 11:40 AM (the cheapie show), 2:15, and 4:45. I'd be happy to offer my house as a meeting place, or a place to go out and hang after, or maybe go to a restaurant? Any interest, let me know at my contact address....

That link appears to be to Newsday's "Latest Headlines" and is now another story. Here's stuff from the BBC and the San Jose Mercury.
Systems affected: Microsoft SQL Server 2000 pre SP3.
Just finished having a lovely visit with Sheryl. She and her boyfriend both have family close to my neighborhood. Sheryl’s adorable parents were sweet enough to drive over to my house for a visit. How very lovely of them to take time out from their short visit time with their daughter to facilitate the mini F2F. I felt I had to be apologetic for our temperatures in the 60’s, but it is still warmer than Maryland.
Alas, it is only a weekend visit. It was a quick couple hours of nattering and a nice break from my weekend chores. Brendon was thrilled to meet a Buffista who was not Spike’s Bitch!
Enjoy the Pictures!
This may be of interest to some people.
So you don't have to click through if you don't want to: it's the beginning of a project to list fans geographically so they can find one another. Like the Buffista Map, only larger-scale and slightly messier.
If you're interested, please email rebecca_lizard@worldcrossing.com with:
your fandom name (if you use a different name in the real world, and would like it also listed, include that as well)
your email address
your website, LiveJournal, and/or blog (optional)
your city and state (or whatever else as applicable for people outside the US)
your fandoms
whether you're into slash, het, gen, or any combination of the three
This is open to people who read fic, write fic, make vids, watch vids, natter on message boards, or self-define in any other way as fans.
